Nanotechnology Academy

Hosted by: North Dakota State College of Science

North Dakota students are invited to attend hands-on workshops involving Photolithography, MEMS devices, and MicroFluidic devices. Students will take home a MicroFluidic Mixer, an Etched Wafer, a T-Shirt, and a Jump Drive featuring photos from the event.

Emerging Technologies Academy for Educators
Where: Fargo, ND
Hosted by: North Dakota State College of Science

Each attendee will be required to write lesson plans for the integration of two of the modules into their middle school or high school curriculum. A stipend of $300 will be paid to each attendee upon completion of the academy and submission of their lesson plans.

High school teachers will engage in industry tours and partner with regional industry to acquire the content and contextual knowledge to effectively teach STEM concepts directly related to local renewable, manufacturing and agricultural workforce needs.
